The course is intended for advanced level French horn students, either those who have already started professional studies, or those who contemplate embarking on them. Professional horn players who wish to meet and work with renowned teachers before beginning their new season, as well as advanced amateur players, are also welcome.

Students have the opportunity of preparing various works and of choosing one which will be presented during the final students' concert on Friday evening.

Those who wish will also have the opportunity of studying the Natural horn under the guidance of one of the most accomplished players around.

Piano accompanists are available during the master classes and for preparing concert items. Students can use the Conservatoire's study rooms for individual practice.

Activities : master classes + some private lessons, group courses focusing on technique and interpretation, daily conducted ensemble playing, teachers' concert, students' concert, discussions...

Registration is limited to 18 students and is on a first-come first-served basis.
